He л л was however at this point full of ideas and more л л than ready to set them free. He invested a lot in л л new equipment and spent much time in his home л л studio composing. л л After recording two great albums with SIRENIA ("At л л Sixes And Sevens" and "An Elixir For Existence") л л plus one EP ("Sirenian Shores"), it was time to л л take everything even further. л л л л In 2006 SIRENIA signed to NUCLEAR BLAST and л л released "Nine Destinies And A Downfall" which л л turned out to sound more powerful and heavier than л л its 2 predecessors - the album hit the German л л media control charts at # 54 gained the band л л access to a way broader audience. In November 2007 л л vocalist Monica Pederson quit the band due to л л musical disagreements. л л л л The vacant position was soon filled with the young л л spanish vocalist extraordinaire, Ailyn, and also a л л new guitarrist, namely Michael S. Krumins, was л л announced soon. As could already be heard on the л л "The 13th Floor" (hitting the German charts on л л position # 87), the new line-up happens to be the л л strongest and most powerful to date! "The Enigma л л Of Life" once more proves mastermind Morten Veland л л has the right sense for how his band has to evolve л л over the years. л л л л "The Enigma Of Life" is the logical continuation л л of what the band did in the past years and will л л definetely take SIRENIA to the next higher level - л л that is for sure!
