Years in the planning, the album features many ±Û° °Û± of the best known VNV NATION songs, performed purely with ±Û° °Û± orchestra and voice. No other studio instruments were used as the ±Û° °Û± goal was to be as authentic as possible. Already very familiar ±Û° °Û± with classical music, and taking much inspiration from it for ±Û° °Û± their own songs, this is the album that VNV NATION have always ±Û° °Û± wanted to make. ±Û° °Û± ±Û° °Û± The album was recorded with the world renowned Babelsberg Film ±Û° °Û± Orchestra, at their historic studios in Potsdam, just outside ±Û° °Û± Berlin, next to the stage where legendary movies like Fritz ±Û° °Û± Lang's "Metropolis" were filmed. Only the best studios were used ±Û° °Û± for the recording, mixing and mastering.
