One of her most valued memories was when her late father and she yodelled together. She entered talent quests and competed at various clubs until she produced two singles in 1982 and the folloing year, a collection of sixteen yodelling songs. The album Kitten, Yodelling Sweetheart, from Music World, achieved Gold status in Australia and New Zealand.
