Zwischen 1973 und 1976 hatten die Ohio Players 7 Top-40-Hits in den USA, unter anderen Fire und Love Rollercoaster. This is a very smooth, very danceable album of upbeat boogie and yachty ballads, and it doesn't sound anything like the Players but it sounds good and that's what counts. Heck, "So Nice I Got My R&B" is almost a Steely Dan song!
