Steve Stevens (born Steven Bruce Schneider; May 5, 1959) is an American guitarist. He is best known as Billy Idol's guitarist and songwriting collaborator, and for his lead guitar work on the theme to Top Gun - "Top Gun Anthem" - for which he won a Grammy in 1987: Best Pop Instrumental Performance.
Stevens has played for Michael Jackson, Ric Ocasek, Robert Palmer, and many others. He was in Vince Neil's band from 1992 to 1994, touring and recording on his album Exposed and was a founding member of the supergroup Bozzio Levin Stevens, which released Black Light Syndrome in 1997 and Situation Dangerous in 2000.

Anthony Frederick Levin (born June 6, 1946) is an American musician and composer specializing in electric bass guitars, Chapman Stick and upright bass. He also sings and plays synthesizer. Levin is best known for his work with King Crimson (1981-2021) and Peter Gabriel (since 1977). He is also a member of Liquid Tension Experiment (1997-1999, 2008-2009, 2020-present), Bruford Levin Upper Extremities (1998-2000) and HoBoLeMa (2008-2010). He has led his own band, Stick Men, since 2010.

Das musikalische Spektrum des Schlagzeugers Terry Bozzio ist weit gef�chert. Es spiegelt sich in der Zusammenarbeit mit unterschiedlichen Bands und Musikern wider. Dazu geh�ren unter anderem Duran Duran, Jeff Beck, Roger Waters, Chad Wackerman, Steve Vai, Steve Stevens, Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto, Robbie Robertson, Gary Wright, Don Dokken, Paul Hyde, Herbie Hancock, Dweezil Zappa, Richard Marx, The Knack, KoЯn und Fant�mas. Das mit Jeff Beck und Tony Hymas entstandene Album Guitar Shop (1989) wurde mit einem Grammy Award 1990 ausgezeichnet.
Der Rolling Stone listete Bozzio 2016 auf Rang 17 der 100 gr��ten Schlagzeuger aller Zeiten.

There's no doubting the pedigree of the three players involved here but what was perhaps a little surprising at the time was the inclusion of Billy Idol guitarist, Steve Stevens. He proves to be a worthy collaborator for Bozzio and Levin though, proving he's capable of far more than the Pop Metal of his previous employer.
Basically what we get here is a series of instrumental Jams in the Jazz Rock/ Fusion vein with a bit of acoustic Flamenco guitar playing thrown in for good measure. Although the jams were based on a few initial ideas, they were fleshed out in the studio on the spot over a four day period with further guitar overdubs added by Stevens at a later date. Naturally from musicians of such calibre the playing is superb and full marks to them for making the material sound like it had been worked on over a longer period of time.
