He first came to prominence in the mid 1970s with Chrome, later establishing a solo career. Helios has said that he invented his trademark guitar sound trying to replicate the sound he heard in his head, while "listening to Black Sabbath on LSD on headphones when I was a teenager." Probably Creed's best overall record. Kiss to the Brain is the closest Helios Creed has ever come to conventional hard rock plus Transpsychedelicspacewarped punkmetal madness. "XL-35," "Legs," and "Throw Away the Rind" are killer cuts, and the whole CD is almost the aural equivalent of a 50s sci-fi B movie.
