Ice-T (* 16. Februar 1958 in Newark, New Jersey; eigentlich Tracy Lauren Marrow) ist ein US-amerikanischer Rapper und Schauspieler. Neben seiner Hip-Hop-Solokarriere ist er auch als Frontmann der Metal-Band Body Count aktiv. Er ist zudem f�r seine langj�hrige Rolle in der Detektiv-Serie Law & Order: Special Victims Unit bekannt.
Ice-T ist daf�r bekannt, immer wieder mit anderen K�nstlern zusammenzuarbeiten, die nicht aus dem Hip-Hop-Bereich stammen. So nahm er mit Slayer einen Song f�r den Soundtrack zum Film Judgment Night - Zum T�ten verurteilt auf. Mit Jello Biafra ver�ffentlichte er den Song Freedom of Speech. Zusammen mit Six feet Under nahm Ice-T einen Song namens One Bullet Left auf. Des Weiteren ist er auf dem Album The truth hurts der Band Pro-Pain im Lied Put the lights out zu h�ren sowie zusammen mit Mot�rhead auf der Single Born to Raise Hell (Auskopplung des Airheads-Soundtracks) vertreten.

Seventh Deadly Sin is the seventh studio album by American rapper Ice-T.  Ice-T doesn't really return to his classic sound of the late '80s/early '90s when he was a key player in the golden age of hip-hop, but he doesn't seem entirely concerned with staying current, either. The end result is a record that occasionally recalls OG or Iceberg while still having elements of everything from RZA's ominous, skeletal productions to the stripped-back Cali-rap of the late '90s. As a result, it straddles two extremes, which can actually be intriguing at times, especially since it is the sonic equivalent of Ice-T's place in hip-hop in 1999 -- a veteran that isn't washed up, but isn't quite in step with the times.
